MISSOULA — The Mission Bulldogs duo of Kayden Carter and Lalo Bravo placed second in the State B-C doubles tennis championship on Friday, May 21. The event was held indoors at the PEAK Racquet Club in Missoula.
The duo battled it out against Brett Sneed and Dillon Gray, of Cut Bank, for the championship. The score was close at the end with a tie-breaker determining the winners. The final was tallied in at 6-3 7-6 (5).
Mission head coach Kimimi Ashley said the duo started out the year as singles, and as the season progressed, they became a duo and worked really well as a team.
Bravo is a senior so this was his last year of high school tennis. Carter is a junior and could be back on the court next year.
