POLSON — Celebrate National Library Week with the North Lake County Public Library. National Library Week is April 4-10. We are offering 20 percent off in our gift nook from April 5-17. If you haven’t explored the library yet, come on in.

The library’s regular, year-round hours are: Monday-Friday, from  9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. We are reserving Wednesday and Friday from 9-10 a.m. for those who are 65+ or are immunocompromised. Masks are required and we are asking that you limit your time in the building to no more than 30 minutes.  Please call us at 406-883-8225 or email us at: polsoncl@polson.lib.mt.us with questions or to request curbside pickup.

The library’s large meeting room is available for public use again. Restrictions apply, including a limit of 15 people with social distancing, no communal food or beverage. Availability is during business hours only. Masks are required to be worn.

Leslie will debut her first suspense novel, written under the name of Alicia Beckman, “Bitterroot Lake.” The book will be released on April 13, from Crooked Lane Books. The Partners Sharing Group is exploring ways of increasing the availability of new materials to patrons and making hold fulfillment more efficient.  Some new items may be marked for “local holds only” before becoming available to readers at all libraries. As we move through this process, we will provide an opportunity for feedback on your experience browsing the collection and placing holds.

Storytime can be viewed on our YouTube channel or on Facebook each Monday at 10:30 a.m. This   week Felicia tells you all about “April Fools.” Be sure to watch all of our Storytimes anytime on our YouTube channel.

Young Reader’s Choice Award 2021 voting is officially open. Come into the library to check out this year’s nominees. Voting is open until April 15.  Anyone in grades 4-12 are eligible to vote. Let your voice be heard by voting online at: https://pnla.org/young-readers-choice-award/
