POLSON — Tax season is upon us. Call the Polson Senior Center for AARP-sponsored free tax preparation information. Don’t wait too long to call us.
Although a lot of older individuals have received the vaccines, remember to consider the risks before participating in activities and meals at the center. Stay home if you are feeling unwell for any reason.
Activities: Exercise class 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday; mahjong 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday; pinochle 12:30 p.m. on Thursday; bingo 7 p.m. Friday; card bingo Thursday, March 18 at 7 p.m.; hearing clinic Tuesday, March 23 from 9-11 a.m.
Lunch is served in the center, offered as take-out, or home-delivered Monday-Friday from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. If you are a new client, call the center to make arrangements for payment.
Menu:
— Wednesday, March 17: Happy St. Patrick’s Day! corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, roll, rainbow dream salad, Leprechaun cake
— Thursday, March 18: pot pie on a biscuit, apple sauce, frozen fruit salad, molasses cookie
— Friday, March 19: cheese burger, fries, carrots, pasta salad, pudding
— Monday, March 22: creamy broccoli soup, roll, Jell-O fluff, fruit cocktail
— Tuesday, March 23: soft shell taco, refried beans, green salad, fruit crisp
— Wednesday, March 24: chicken salad on lettuce, tater wedges, pickled beets, orange salad, red velvet cake
We are always looking for drivers to provide home-delivered meals.
