POLSON — Although I now have had both my vaccine shots, I will still wear my mask for the safety of others. Think about that when you come to the Polson Senior Center and please wear a mask. After a year of being cautious, let’s not slacken our efforts due to COVID fatigue.
Activities:
— AARP-sponsored free tax preparation has started; call the center for information about getting help.
— veteran’s representative - Tuesday, March 16, 10 a.m.-noon
— exercise class - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
— bingo - Friday at 7 p.m.
— pinochle - Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
— mahjong - Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
— Polson Senior Center Board of Directors meeting on Friday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m.
Lunch is served at the center, offered for take-out, and home-delivered Monday-Friday from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. If you are new to the service, call the center about payment arrangements.
Menu:
— Wednesday, March 10: barbecue pork ribs, baked potato, stir-fry veggies, pea salad, veggies
— Thursday, March 11: Swiss steak, garlic potatoes, corn, fluffy fruit salad, cake
— Friday, March 12: chicken breast with stuffing, peas, Jell-O/coleslaw, lemon bars
— Monday, March 15: corn chowder, tuna sandwich, fruit salad, cake
— Tuesday, March 16: sweet & sour pork, rice, stir fry veggies, cowboy caviar, lemon pudding
— Wednesday, March 17: corned beef and cabbage, carrots, potatoes, roll, rainbow dream salad, Leprechaun cake
