MPR presents ‘Honor, Hope and Healing’ week

MISSOULA — Honor, Hope and Healing Week runs Monday, Dec. 7 through 14 on Montana Public Radio with over 40 hours of special programming. “We wanted to take a look back at this extraordinary year and say thanks to first responders, those affected by this pandemic and our unbelievable listeners,” said MTPR program director Michael Marsolek.
Special programs to include an honoring of Pearl Harbor Day, songs of hope and comfort with dedications to caregivers, a Hanukkah special, celebration of Black musical artists and much, much more. Recycling discussed at Kiwanis Club meeting

POLSON — Please join Polson Kiwanis Club on Thursday, Dec. 17, at noon, at KwaTaqNuk Resort and Casino, downstairs. Our guest speaker will be Mark Nelson, program manager for the Lake County Solid Waste District and immediate past president of Recycle Montana. Mark will bring us up to date on recycling in Lake County and issues related to waste. Polson Kiwanis Club meets the first and third Thursdays of each month. KwaTaqNuk follows COVID-19 protocols, taking temperatures at entry upstairs and requiring masks and social distancing. A lunch menu is available for purchase.
