ST. IGNATIUS — We held our second in-house meal this week. The food was delicious and we played bingo afterward. A fun evening.

These are precarious times. At our board meeting we tentatively planned evening dinners, one on Nov. 18, to celebrate Thanksgiving and then another on Dec. 16 to celebrate Christmas. We will also serve a lunch the day before Thanksgiving and be closed on Friday, Nov. 27, the day after Thanksgiving. These meals are subject to change, depending on the severity of COVID-19 outbreaks. At our January board meeting, we will look at further re-openings.

Our menu for the week:

—  Wednesday, Oct. 21: BLT, soup, corn, tomatoes, fruit crisp  

—  Friday, Oct. 23: chicken bake, baked squash, coleslaw, fruit, cook’s choice

—  Tuesday, Oct. 27: roast beef, roast potatoes, steamed veggies, fruit bars
