POLSON — The Polson Senior Center is open with masks and social distancing. We cannot guarantee your safety from COVID-19 so use your best judgment for you about participating in activities.
On Friday, Aug. 28, the annual membership meeting will take place at 11:45 a.m. Membership dues are due now since memberships expire on Sept. 1.
Activities are:
— Exercise classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
— Bingo is played on Fridays beginning at 7 p.m. with doors open at 6:30 p.m.
— Mahjong is played on Wednesdays beginning at 12:30 p.m.
— Pinochle is played on Thursdays beginning at 12:30 p.m.
— Bridge is played on Tuesdays and Fridays beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Lunches are served at the center, or available for take-out or home delivered Monday-Friday from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for $5.
The menu is:
— Wednesday, Aug. 25: crab-stuffed tomatoes, roll, veggie, Jell-O, banana cream dessert
— Thursday, Aug. 27: beanie-wienies, hash browns, peas, sauerkraut salad, butterscotch pudding
— Friday, Aug. 28: Birthday lunch - roast pork, whip potatoes, green beans, strawberry salad cake
— Monday, Aug. 31: split pea soup, roll, six-cup salad, cookie
