POLSON — We are open. Masks are required and social distancing.
Activities at the Polson Senior Center are:
— Exercise every Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
— Bridge every Tuesday and Friday beginning at 12:30 p.m.
— Pinochle or other cards are played every Thursday beginning at 12:30 p.m.
— Mah Jong is played every Wednesday beginning at 12:30 p.m.
— Bingo is played every Friday with doors opening at 6 p.m., games starting at 7 p.m.
— The veterans’ representative will be at the center on Friday, Aug. 7, and Monday, Aug. 18, from 10 a.m.-noon.
— A hearing clinic will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 9-11 a.m.
— The board of directors meeting will begin on Friday, Aug. 14, at 10:3 a.m.; all are invited.
— The annual meeting for the center will take place on Friday, Aug 28, at 10:30 a.m.
— No driving classes will be taught until, at least, January 2021.
Lunches are served at the center and can be picked up or home delivered from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday for $5.
Menu:
— Wednesday, Aug. 5: crispy chicken, macaroni and cheese, peas, orange pretzel salad, tapioca pudding
— Thursday, Aug. 6: hashbrown bake, link sausage, blueberry muffin, cauliflower, carrot cake
— Friday, Aug. 7: Swiss steak, noodles, beets, spinach salad, peaches
— Monday, Aug. 10: potato soup, roll, coleslaw, oranges
— Tuesday, Aug. 11: sweet and sour pork, country noodles, cream peas, cream peach salad, poke cake
— Wednesday, Aug. 12: meat loaf, whip potatoes, broccoli, copper pennie, brownie
