News from the Montechato Club
POLSON — With this year’s Polson Cherry Festival cancelled, members of the Montecahto Club have decided to sell their famous Flathead cherry pies downtown on Fridays during the Farmer’s Market. Watch for their sidewalk tables in front of Second Nature Gifts on Main Street and River Rock Mercantile (where the Hallmark store was), around the corner.
The club might be able to sell their fundraising pies at the Farmer’s Market itself, but that was not definite at press time.
Meanwhile, cherry pies may be ordered baked or unbaked. Montecahto Vice President Alice Erb says that unbaked pies may be purchased now for $20. To order, call her at 406-250-3189.
She and other club members remind everyone that the club is “not responsible for elusive pits.”
