News from Mission Valley Archers
Are you ready to get outside? The Mission Valley Archers are ready, and they are hosting a 3D shoot.
The event will be located near Polson at 6066 Irving Flats Road. The shoot will consist of two courses with 20 life-size three-dimensional animals set up in each course. The animals could be some of the familiar deer, elk or turkeys or they could be exotic. Course registration will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 7.
This is a great opportunity for people to get outside and finally breathe some fresh air, and shooting a bow is always fun, anyway. There are no trophies to be won at this shoot, but there is always personal competition or friendly competition with others.
Judging distances, analyzing skill level and deciding where more effort is needed is always great practice. For more information, contact Larry Rattray at 406-261-7199 or rattpak@centurytel.net
