News from the Lake County COVID-19 Health Task Force
LAKE COUNTY – The Lake County Covid-19 Health Task Force is composed of eight local healthcare entities, including: KRMC Polson Health; Saint Joseph Medical Center; St. Luke’s Community Healthcare; CSKT Tribal Health; Polson Health and Rehab; Lake County Public Health Department; Lake/CSKT Unified Command; and our Local Emergency Medical Services.
The task force was formed in response to the global Covid-19 pandemic to ensure that the population of Lake County received optimal coordinated healthcare. The task force meets twice weekly with sub-groups that meet more often for specific project related tasks.
From the task force to all of the residents of Lake County, we wanted to extend our sincere gratitude for what you have been doing. By practicing socially distancing, wearing a mask and following good hygiene habits you are all helping combat this virus. You are making our community safer and in many ways protecting us from harm. So thank you from all of us to all of you. We appreciate the sacrifices you are making.
