Boys Basketball
Charlo Vikings
On Saturday evening, the Charlo Vikings wrapped up their regular season on the road in Hot Springs. The Vikings fell 69-54 to the Savage Heat.
Mission Bulldogs
The Mission Bulldogs fell 72-55 to the visiting Thompson Falls Blue Hawks on Thursday. Senior Jedi Christy posted Bulldog team-high 16 points, while Isaiah Nasewytewa chipped in with 12 points.
The Mission Bulldogs ended the 2019-2020 regular season by defeating the visiting Troy Trojans 71-44 on Saturday. For the Bulldogs, Christy led the way with 24 points followed by Zoran LaFrombois who scored 18 points.
Two Eagle River Eagles
Sheadyn Croft posted an Eagles’ team-high 18 points on Saturday in a 72-41 home loss against the Plains Horsemen. Michael Brown chipped in with 11 points for the Eagles.
Arlee Warriors
The Arlee boys basketball team came away with a 71-54 home win against Eureka on Saturday evening.
Warrior Cody Tanner netted a game-high 17 points, while both Tapit Haynes and Levi Fullerton each scored 13 points.
Ronan Chiefs
On Saturday, the Chiefs held on to defeat the visiting Corvallis Blue Devils 47-44. Elijah Tonasket scored 13 points and Trey Don’t Mix scored 10 points to lead Ronan in scoring.
Polson Pirates
On Thursday, the Polson Pirates walked away with a 54-44 road win over the Bigfork Vikings.
Girls Basketball
Charlo Lady Vikings
The 4th-ranked Charlo Lady Vikings capped off their undefeated season on the road with a 57-42 victory over the Hot Springs Lady Savage Heat on Saturday. The win also clinched the regular season 14C district title for the Lady Vikings.
Mission Lady Bulldogs
Azia Umphrey had a team-high 15 points for the Mission Lady Bulldogs followed by Sydney Brander with 13 points at home on Thursday in a 64-49 loss to the Thompson Falls Lady Blue Hawks. The Mission Lady Bulldogs demolished the visiting Troy Lady Trojans 64-24 on Saturday. Courtney Mitchell scored a game-high 13 points for the Lady Bulldogs followed by Olivia Garland with 11 points and Umphrey with 10 points.
Arlee Scarlets
In Arlee on Saturday, the Eureka Lady Lions outpaced the Scarlets 55-27. On the evening, Peyton Lammerding scored a team-high 11 points for Arlee.
Ronan Maidens
On the road Saturday, the Ronan Maidens fell 55-39 to the Corvallis Lady Blue Devils in nonconference Class A girls basketball action.
Polson Lady Pirates
The Bigfork Valkyries defeated the hosting Polson Lady Pirates 46-6 on Thursday evening.
