News from St. Luke Community Healthcare
As a community-owned healthcare facility, St. Luke Community healthcare is showing support for local youth activities by donating $25 for each well-child check to the athlete’s school.
Rob Alfiero presented a check to the Ronan High School for $2,375. A check for $1,875 will also be donated to the Ronan Middle School. With both checks, the total donation is $4,250. Other Mission Valley Schools will soon receive checks. A total of $10,725 will go back to the middle and high schools in our area.
St. Luke providers conducted well-child checks and sports physicals for athletes throughout the Mission Valley this fall. Students were encouraged to see their primary care provider in an effort to improve mental and physical health with a more comprehensive exam.
