POLSON – The Giving Pool founder Shelley Cleverdon is organizing an event with volunteers to raise funds to buy filtration water bottles for people in Morocco to provide them with clean drinking water.

She plans to focus the nonprofit organization’s efforts on helping children in the region. The water bottles she is selling are the same ones she will send to Morocco in a one-for-one style exchange, which means if someone buys a bottle then she uses the proceeds to buy another bottle to donate.

The Giving Pool will have water bottles designed with a special filtration system for sale during a concert at The Perfect Shot on Main Street from 8-11 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11. The Sunlight Black Band will be playing. The $5 cover charge will go directly to the water project. Special food and drinks will be available with part of the proceeds also going to the water project.
