Charlo man dies in two-vehicle accident

LAKE COUNTY – Lake County Sheriff Don Bell released the name of the victim killed during an two-vehicle wreck near the intersection of West Post Creek Road and Logan Road as John Wesley Marshall Gardner, 84, of Charlo.
Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies, Montana Highway Patrol, Ronan Ambulance Service, and Ronan and Charlo fire departments responded to the incident. Bell said that responders at the scene pronounced the victim to be deceased as a result of injuries sustained during the crash.
The vehicles that were involved included a Honda Accord and a side-by-side small four-wheel drive off-road vehicle. Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Bell said, “We send our deepest condolences to the Gardner family.”
