Quintana to speak at Democrats’ meeting
RONAN — Lake County Democrats will hold their April meeting on Wednesday, April 17, at the Ronan Senior Center on Main Street. A social gathering will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the program to follow at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Jorge ( George ) Quintana, who represents Montana on the Democratic National Committee, will give a DNC update with a review of 2018 and a preview of 2020, including their plan and changes in strategy for the 2020 election and the presidential debate process. Quintana, son of Cuban immigrants, graduated from the University of Montana School of Law, is Montana’s Delegate to the Democratic National Convention serving on the Resolutions Committee and as Vice-Chair of the DNC Hispanic Caucus.
