POLSON - A driver lost control of her car along U.S. Highway 93 in Polson on Thursday, Jan. 17, due to icy roads, and slid into the Port Polson Players theater sign. Frequent Players performer Les Lundeen reported to Players producers that the driver was his granddaughter, visiting from Georgia. No one was injured in the accident, but her car and the sign were totaled. The sign will lay in place until insurance adjusters can survey the situation. Drivers are reminded to exercise cautioun when traveling on icy roads.
