DEER LODGE — The Maidens were handed a tough loss that ended their season Oct. 24 as Ronan traveled to Deer Lodge to who would be the final team to compete in the District 6-B seeding tournament.
The Maidens came out hot, winning the opening two matches 25-22, 27-25, but fell apart soon after, allowing the Wardens to win the next three games 25-20, 25-15, 15-10.
Ashleigh Lynch led the Maidens with eight kills and 23 digs.
Brittney Mock finished with five of Ronan’s nine blocks and four aces. Lindsay Clairmont added 13 assists in the loss.
The Wardens were led by Michelle Christnacht, who had 12 of the Wardens’ 41 kills.
Teammate Cassy Grazeley added nine aces.
