Girls Basketball

Arlee Scarlets

Alyssia Vanderberg dominated the game Tuesday night, Dec. 18, knocking down 23 points as Arlee defeated the Plains Trotters 68-43 in District 14C girls basketball action. In the road win for the Scarlets, Emily Fiddler added 14 points. 

 

Mission Lady Bulldogs

Four players reached double figures as the Mission Lady Bulldogs remain unbeaten as of Tuesday evening, Dec. 18, on the road against the Hot Springs Lady Savage Heat. Addison Arlint led the Lady Bulldogs with 14 points, while Azia Umphrey and Karolyna Buck added 13 points apiece. Sydney Brander chipped in 10 points for Mission in the 67-29 non-conference victory.

 

Ronan Maidens

Jaylea Lunceford scored six points to lead the Ronan Maidens in a 28-23 home loss against the Hamilton Lady Broncs on Tuesday, Dec. 18.

 

Boys Basketball

Arlee Warriors

In a clash between District 14C rivals, the visiting Arlee Warriors outlasted the Plains Horsemen 75-66 on Tuesday night, Dec. 18.

 

Mission Bulldogs

On Tuesday, Dec. 18, the Mission Bulldogs outscored the Hot Springs Savage Heat 27-9 in the first quarter en route to an 88-57 non-conference road win. Mission picked up their fourth win of the season. Jacob Hugs led the Bulldogs with 20 points. Jedi Christy scored 18 points. Flint McPherson and Wacey McClure each scored 16 points.

 

Ronan Chiefs

Ronan Chiefs fell 82-53 on the road against the Hamilton Broncs on Tuesday night, Dec. 18. Anthony Camel poured in 21 points, and Jacob Gatch put in another 12 points.

Polson Pirates

In a dual event hosted by the Columbia Falls Matcats, Polson Pirate Wrestling won duals over Corvallis 48-18 and Columbia Falls 46-24 in prep wrestling action Tuesday evening, Dec. 18. Pirate wrestlers Rene Pierre (113), Jarod Farrier (132), Bridger Wenzel (152), Garrett Croft (160), Hunter Fritsch (170) and Jasper Drake (285) all pinned their opponents in competition.
