Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases April 1-7:

Heide R. Jelley, 22, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, third or subsequent offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 160 suspended, and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs. If Jelley can provide proof of insurance and continuous six-months coverage by April 15, jail time will be reduced to 10 days.

Daniel Harold Ebensteiner, 49, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license, expired more than 180 days. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Randy Joseph Trudeau, 52, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of reckless driving. He was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Janelle Marie Bebee, 35, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense or reckless driving. She was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.

Jay Calvin Smith, 23, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 30 days with 25 suspended, and fined $600 plus $85 in court costs.

Jeremy W. Phillipi, 25, pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight suspended, and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. Additionally, Phillipi pleaded not guilty to failing to remain at property accident scene. He was found guilty, sentenced to 20 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.

Joseph Mark Sawyer, 49, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Jonathan Wesley Owens, 26, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days with all suspended, and fined $600 plus $85 in court costs.

Martin Gene Wall, 46, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days with all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.

David Neale Gonzales, 34, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of partner or family member assault, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 365 days in jail with 364 suspended, and credited for one days served. Gonzales was also fined $300 plus $85 in court costs. Additionally, Gonzales pleaded guilty to another charge of partner or family member assault. He was found guilty of that charge and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 362 suspended, and credited for 3 days served. He was also fined $300 and $85 in court costs.

Stan T. Gies, 43, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days with 175 suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs.
