RONAN – To celebrate Community Bank’s first 100 years in the Mission Valley, they put together a book that highlight’s the history of the surrounding areas, and of the bank’s progression throughout that time. The books have been selling for a suggested donation of $15. All proceeds from the book sales were collected until they recently topped $2,000. On Wednesday, Aug. 31, Community Bank Loan Officer Brennin Grainey and Assistant Vice President Chris Jackson presented a check for $2,000 to Executive Director John Schnase of Boys and Girls Club of Flathead Reservation.
“It’s very important to support you guys,” Jackson said to the young crowd. “Hopefully you all will have a good year here and hopefully for many years to come.”
The books will continue to be sold in and around Lake County, with proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club annually.
