Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Sept. 28-Oct. 1:

Trevor Alan Moss, 31, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $400 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Karyn Dawn Compton, 50, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

John Mackenzie Forrest, 26, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended.

Nicala Le’nee Casas, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving without a valid driver’s license. She was found guilty and fined $500 with $400 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

John McCormick, 52, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. He was found guilty and fined $2000 with $800 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 360 days in jail with 353 days suspended.

Logan B. Barnes, 22, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Adam E. Sherman, 18, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was fined $500 with $400 suspended and charged $85 in court costs.

Robert Ronald Steinebach, 45, pleaded guilty to partner or family member assault, causing bodily injury to partner or family member, first offense. He was fined $1000 with $800 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.
