DIXON — The Dixon Senior Center is a small community of wonderful, and inviting people. If you need a place to enjoy a hot, hardy, meal, or just want to enjoy the company of a few good Dixon folks, the Dixon Senior Center is the place to be. We serve meals every Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. and every Thursday at noon. We also have our “free meal” on the last Friday of each month from 5:30-7 p.m. All food is homemade and cooked with care. Our cook takes pride in keeping a clean and safe environment for all who enjoy the meals.

— Thursday, Sept: 27: sloppy Joes, potato salad
— Friday, Sept. 28: monthly free meal — Indian tacos
— Monday, Oct. 1: chili, cornbread, salad
— Thursday, Oct. 4: taco casserole, rolls, salad
