POLSON — Lettin’ the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier’n puttin’ it back in.
On Friday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Safeway pharmacy will administer flu and pneumonia shots.
A special thank you goes to Marsha at Richwine’s Burgerville for the use of their freezer when ours went down. It was very much appreciated.
I started bowling with the seniors again after two shoulder replacement surgeries and found it’s like riding a bicycle; one never forgets how. My 245 game and 651 series were high for the men. Cris Alter swept the women’s game, series and handicap series, slightly edging Sharon Sansone in the latter. Jim Funke won the men’s high handicap series.
The menu for the coming week is:
— Thursday, Sept. 27: chili dogs
— Friday, Sept.28: birthday lunch - roast pork, whipped potatoes
— Monday, Oct. 1: turkey soup, blueberry muffins
— Tuesday, Oct. 2: lasagna
— Wednesday, Oct. 3: Salisbury steak
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Vegetables and a dessert are included with the meals.
