Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases April 6-12:
Manuel Figueroa, 58, pleaded not guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, third or subsequent offense. He was found guilty and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs.
Michael Shane Robbins, 34, pleaded guilty to speeding, traveling 66 mph in a 50-mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. Robbins also pleaded guilty to the amended offense of driving without a valid driver's license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Tammy Lee Whisman, 42, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent blood alcohol concentration or greater, first offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. • Richard Duane King, 56, pleaded guilty to failure to notify owner after accident resulting in damage to property/fixtures along highway. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
Randy Kenneth Schock, 29, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 175 suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If he provides proof of a valid driver's license by May 1, jail will be reduced by three days. Schock also pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, third or subsequent offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 175 suspended, and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs. If he provides proof of six months' continuous insurance by May 1, jail will be reduced by three days.
Tye Amber (Fletcher) Herreid, 27, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If she provides proof of six months' continuous insurance, jail time will be waived.
Tony Martin Salmonsen, 50, pleaded guilty to improper passing in a no-passing zone. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
Myles Richard Metzger, 19, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
