POLSON — When it comes to politics or religion I believe that everyone is entitled to my opinion.
Fiscal reality has caught up with us, forcing an increase in the price of our daily lunch. It is now $5; still a bargain.
Many thanks to the gardeners who have donated some of the bounties of their labors to our kitchen. It is much appreciated.
We are still in the market to hire an assistant cook, a sous chef, if you will. Fill out an application at Job Service downtown.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, July 19: hot pork sandwich, whipped potatoes
— Friday, July 20: sloppy Joes, French fries
— Monday, July 23: cheesy potato soup, homemade rolls
— Tuesday, July 24: hamburger stroganoff, noodles
— Wednesday, July 25: taco salad in tortilla bowls
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Vegetables and a dessert are included with meals.
