Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases March 30-April 5:

Dean M. Scheller, 50, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Scheller also forfeited a $500 bond. If he provides proof of a valid driver’s license by May 4, jail will be waived.

Jessica Dean Vollmert, 26, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Vollmert also pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Vollmert also pleaded not guilty to failure to give notice of accident by quickest means/apparent damage over $500. She was found guilty, sentenced to 20 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.

Allen Myron Zempel pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of reckless driving. he was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail, 88 suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.

Jenna Marie Ness-Neumann, 24, pleaded not guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, third or subsequent offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs. Ness-Neumann also pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of driving without a valid drivers license. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 175 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Hans Sven Nymark, 66, pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. Nymark also pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.

Benjamin R. Newsom, 31, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.

Joshua Charles Markovich, 21, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs. Markovich also pleaded not guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs. He received credit for two days served.

Rainee M. Vassar, 18, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. She found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Dylan Brunner-Doerr, 29, pleaded not guilty to violation of restrictions imposed on probationary driver’s license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.

Tiffany E. Jore, 24, pleaded guilty to the amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. She was found guilty and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Joseph Peasley, 19, pleaded no contest to possessing intoxicating substances while under age 21 (over age 18), third or subsequent offense. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. Peasley also pleaded no contest to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If Peasley provides proof of six months’ continuous insurance by Aug. 16, jail will be waived and fines reduced by $100.

Aaron James Jolstead, 25, denied committing the amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Rafael Garza Pruneda, 30, pleaded guilty to not possessing seven previous days’ logs. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Sheryl Lee Clark, 57, pleaded guilty to the amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. She was found guilty and fined $65 plus $35 in court costs.

Rhonda Lou Wilkins, 43, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
