POLSON — Calling all of you who love Classic Country music to come and join us at our next dance from 7-10 p.m., on Wednesday, June 6, at the Elks on Main Street. The Band also plays Rock from the 50s, 60s and 70s. If you like hamburgers, the Elks puts out a pretty good one before our dance.
This is a community dance and everyone is welcome. You do not have to be an Elk member to attend. Dress is casual, just come and enjoy the music and meet new people. We would love to see some young dancers come and have some fun with us too. If you don’t know how to dance, I think there are enough of us there that can help you learn. Now, I am talking any age, from those that would like to learn to those who would just like to get back in the Swing of Things. It really is fun and we look forward to you all coming.
The third Wednesday of the month is our Birthday dance where we have cake to celebrate everyone’s birthday for the month. If you should be interested in joining in on our birthday celebration please let Betty Carter or Ellen Achenbaugh know, and we will be more than happy to get you on the list and help you celebrate. Your name and month is all we need to know.
The cost is $5 per person. Drinks, and soft drinks are available for purchase at the bar. Water and coffee are free in the dance area. Snacks are available at break which is from 8:30-9 p.m. and are free for everyone attending. Please don’t feel obligated to bring snacks, just come and enjoy yourselves.
