PABLO – One of the biggest senior classes in perhaps decades walked across the stage during 2018 graduation ceremonies at Two Eagle River School on Saturday afternoon.
Keynote speaker Two Eagle River School counselor Judi Gibbs addressed the 22 graduating students and nearly full gymnasium.
During her short speech, Gibbs conveyed to the students that setbacks and hardships are part of life and that it’s ok to ask for help.
In her closing remarks, Gibbs reminded the graduates “You are loved. Don’t you ever, ever, ever forget that you are loved. If you need any proof look around,” to which the crowd responded by erupting into a supportive cheer and applause.
After the diplomas were presented, the graduates made their way to the Two Eagle River School commons area where they were congratulated by family, friends and well wishers.
