RONAN — The smiles have returned to a lot of faces with the sunshine. It is so pleasant to see. Everyone is thinking about planting and gardening with the warmer weather. It is a time of new beginnings. I really enjoy this time of year when the colors start appearing and you just marvel at the majesty of creation. It is so fascinating to be able to stick a little seed in the ground and watch it grow with the tender care it is given.
It is close to the end of another month. My how time flies; the children will soon be out of school.
The menu for the coming week:
— Wednesday, April 25: tator-tot casserole, bread, salad, dessert
— Friday, April 27: birthday dinner - roast beef, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, veggies, salad, cake, ice cream
— Monday, April 30: chicken-rice casserole, bread, veggies, salad, dessert
Meals are served Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon. The price is $4 for those 60 years old and over and $5 for those under 60 years. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy some great food and lively company. You don’t have to be a senior to come and join us. You may come in the door a stranger, but you walk out a friend.
