It looks like the perch have finally begun to bite at the east side of Polson Bay. Though I haven’t been there myself as I head up to Finnian Slough to catch bait fish, I’ve seen a cluster of boats on the south central part of the bay. A reminder that I’m paying .35 each for legal bait fish less than 9.5 inches. If you can find your way to Finnian, not only is the bait fish great but some monster perch and crappie can be had also (as seen in photo.)
