POLSON – Our bridge-playing snowbirds are beginning to fly back to their summer nests so we are expecting that games will be resuming.
Tai Chi classes will resume on April 24. They were quite popular last time so call us for more details.
There will be an AARP safe driving course on April 7. Call 883-4735 to get on the list.
The toenail clinic is scheduled for April 11 from 10 to noon.
The veteran’s representative will be at our facility from 10 to noon on April 6.
April 12 is the last day to have your taxes done here at the senior center.
Alice is back so Friday night bingo will be back on a regular schedule.
Senior bowling results for March 27: Cris Alter rolled a 244 game and 649 series. Larry Alter had a 228 high men’s game. Jack Adamson scored a 589 series. Rounding out the high handicap series was Sharon Sansone with 747 and Walter Reznicek with 743.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
– Thursday, April 5 - hamburger gravy over noodles
– Friday, April 6 - hot pork sandwich, whipped potatoes
– Monday, April 9 - vegetable beef soup, egg salad sandwich
– Tuesday, April 10 - hamburger steak, whipped potatoes
– Wednesday, April 11 - corned beef casserole, candied carrots
All meals include vegetables and a dessert. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
