POLSON — My New Years resolution is to help all my friends gain ten pounds so I’ll look skinnier.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and we still have See’s Candy available.
The toe nail clinic will be on Wednesday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The AARP Safe Driving Class will be held on Feb. 21. It begins at 9 a.m., breaks for lunch and resumes after lunch.
Our AARP tax preparers began here on Thursday, Feb. 1, and will continue to be here every Monday and Thursday until the tax deadline. Call 406-883-4735 to make an appointment.
In bowling, Cris Alter rolled a women’s high game of 235 and a series of 640. Tim Basta’s 222 was high game for the men. Larry Lawin scored the highest series and handicap series. Liz King had the highest women’s handicap series. Bowling is a spectator sport for “Yours Truly” following shoulder surgery.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, Feb. 8: turkey noodle soup, cheesy bread
— Friday, Feb. 9: beanie weenies, homemade rolls
— Monday, Feb. 12: beef barley soup, corn bread muffins
— Tuesday, Feb. 13: mac-a-noodle casserole
— Wednesday, Feb. 14: taco salad in tortilla bowls
All meals include vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
