MISSOULA – For those who have ever wondered why we drink alcohol, what is human consciousness and artificial intelligence, where diseases come from and whether Godzilla could actually exist, a new podcast is available.
Art Woods, professor and biologist at the University of Montana, and Marty Martin, professor and integrative biologist at the University of South Florida, host “Big Biology,” a podcast that tells the stories of scientists tackling some of the biggest unanswered questions in biology.
Each episode features leading scientists from around the world and two podcasts produced from the conversation – a condensed five to 10-minute version focusing on just the highlights, and a longer, lightly edited version of the entire conversation.
Recent episodes have included Robert Dudley, professor and chair of integrative biology at the University of California, Berkeley, and Denis Noble, professor emeritus of cardiovascular physiology at the University of Oxford.
The “Big Biology” podcast is available on iTunes and Google Play, as well as online at: https://www.bigbiology.org/.
