POLSON – Spreading a little Christmas cheer. That’s what the Polson High School’s Connection Tour is all about.
For the second consecutive year, the group of 20 students from the extracurricular choir traveled to Cherry Valley and Linderman elementaries, Polson Middle School and the Polson Senior Center to sing.
At Linderman on Dec. 20, the PHS choir came dressed in their pajamas as part of “PJ Day,” where they sang six songs and interacted with the student body in the school gym. They changed into formal attire for a portion of the repertoire.
“It’s such a great opportunity,” said PHS choir director Kaylee Schubert, who came up with the idea. “My students look forward to this all year.”
She said that a lot of the elementary students get an excitement for music by listening to the high school choir.
