Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases May 25-31:
Robert James Steele, 29, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, five suspended, and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs. If Steele provides proof of a valid driver’s license by Aug. 1, the five days of jail will be waived.
Dalena Flora Weaselhead, 20, pleaded not guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18), first offense. She was found guilty and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Kchena S. Bisson, 30, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
David Joseph Vanacker, 64, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. He was found guilty and fined $65 plus $35 in court costs.
Murnice Edwin Myers, 54, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, five suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If he provides proof of six months’ continuous insurance by Nov. 29, fines will be reduced by $100 and jail reduced to two days.
