POLSON – The Polson Business Community is promoting Small Business Saturday.
The annual event takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving each year. It is sponsored by American Express.
The Polson Business Community will be offering cookies and drinks from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at a kiosk at 7 Third Ave. E in Polson outside Polson Hallmark.
Support your local businesses and your community by shopping local this holiday season.
Parade of Lights signups
Joslyn Shackelford notes that the deadline to sign up for this year’s Parade of Lights is Friday, Nov. 24. The entry fee is $10, which will go toward the purchase of lights that were added to strips of garland on 28 street light poles downtown.
