I read a heartwarming pet story in the Valley Journal several weeks ago that has prompted me to submit my letter. Ms. Tenas of Elmo found her dog after he had been missing for three months.
Today marks the third month that I lost my pet “Miles.” I let him out for the day and he has never returned. Not only are dogs “man’s” best friend, Miles was definitely this granny’s best friend and companion. I’ve never really been able to relate to pets and pet stories, but that was all before Miles.
He started out as a gift to my daughter, but while I was “dog-sitting” him, we soon developed a bond and he became “my” dog. In conclusion, I am appealing for your help. He is a Shiba Inu, mostly black, 1-year-old with a curled-up tail. If anyone has seen Miles or knows of his whereabouts, I would love to hear from you and would be most grateful.
