News from the North West Montana Retriever Club
POLSON — The North West Montana Retriever Club recently donated $500 to Life Savers Animal Rescue after researching rescue groups in the valley. LSAR was chosen as the proud and happy recipient of this honor.
The North West Montana Retriever Club, located in the Mission Valley, was organized in 2012 for the purpose of holding American Kennel Club sanctioned retriever events and to encourage and support new enthusiast to the retriever sport. They have held “Super Singles” events and training days for the last four years with as many as 50 handler/dog teams competing. Contestants have come from as far away as Oregon, California, Utah, Idaho, and Washington, as well as Montana. As a club they wanted to give back to the community by donating to an organization where 100 percent of the contribution went to the care and protection of our animal friends.
