POLSON — Sweet Bliss is a dream come true for Chanel Lake.
Lake, whose grandmother, Doreen Alexander, owned The Hut burger joint in Polson many years ago, purchased Espress Yoself from Kori Stinger last December.
Lake kept most things the same but made a few changes here and there, and has added to Stinger’s clientele in the process.
“We offer more coffee selections and frozen drinks,” Lake said of the business, which serves Cravens Coffee.
That includes Dole Whip, a non-dairy frozen treat, and cinnamon rolls, sweet treats and pumpkin bars, the latter courtesy of a local baker.
“I love coming to work. We’ve been totally blessed by the community,” Lake said.
Bagels and wraps are available all day long and can be made with egg, meat, cheese, avocado and veggies. One can order a bagel plain or with poppy and sesame seeds, while wraps come in spinach, tomato/basil, garlic/herb and flour.
Huckleberry toppings are now available for addition to desserts, she said, which include frozen yogurt.
Lake said the business, which is located next to the Town Pump gas station on U.S. Highway 93, opens earlier and closes later. Summer hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Winter hours will see a 7 p.m. closing time.
