POLSON — I hate it when the voices in my head are silent; I never know what they are planning.
But lately they’ve been saying, “Dave, its time you go back to work.”
Although I’m not completely 100 percent recovered from my knee injury, I need to get back, perhaps sharing time with those who have been so helpful filling in for me.
The toe nail trimming person will be here on June 14 from 10 a.m.-noon.
Last Tuesday’s Bridge games saw Bob Gorsuch and Dee Adams scoring first and second. Friday’s top scorers were two different names: Rose Mary McClain first and Pat Rollins second.
Plan ahead now for the AARP Safe Driving Course on June 20. The veterans’ representative will be here on that same day from 10 a.m.-noon.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, June 8: lasagna, bread sticks
— Friday, June 9: hot turkey sandwich, whipped potatoes
— Monday, June 12: seafood chowder, tuna sandwich
— Tuesday, June 13: crispy chicken sandwich, tater tots
— Wednesday, June 14: pork cutlets, rice and gravy
All meals include vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
