RONAN — Well another month is coming to a close and school will soon be out for the year. Hope everyone has some fun and relaxing summer vacation plans.
It is business as usual at the senior center. Monday is Bridge after lunch and they welcome anyone who would like to play to come and join them.
Wednesday is the day for crafts. They have a wonderful time of friendship and fellowship so if you would like to join them, bring your latest project and come to the senior center on Wednesday.
Our menu is:
— Wednesday, May 31: beef mushroom noodles
— Friday, June 2: Polish dogs and sauerkraut
— Monday, June 5: hamburger gravy
— Wednesday, June 7: Spanish rice
— Thursday, June 8: our evening meal of oven fried chicken
Monday, Wednesday and Friday meals are served at noon and the Thursday night meal is served at 5:30 p.m. Costs for Monday, Wednesday and Friday meals is $4 for those age 60 and older and $5 for those under 60. Evening meals are $5 for everyone.
A little old man was walking down the sidewalk and saw a frog. He stopped and picked it up. The frog said, “Kiss me and I will turn into a beautiful princess.”
The man stuck the frog into his pocket.
“Aren’t you going to kiss me?” asked the frog.
The man said, “I am 86 years old. A talking frog is more important.”
