Animal Shelter
POLSON — Mission Valley Animal Shelter is hosting a bon voyage, welcome aboard party for their outgoing and incoming operations managers.
Current operations manager Jill Simpson will leave the shelter on April 22. The new manager is Filip Panusz. The farewell, meet and greet party at the shelter is planned for 12 - 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 22. The public is welcome to stop by for light refreshments and say goodbye to Jill and hello to Filip.

Mountain Quilt Guild
Ronan — The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild is doing a fundraiser for the Mission Valley Senior Center. They are hanging their Easter wall hangings there for people to vote, with money, on the best ones. The hanging that earns the most money will be the winner. The money goes to the senior center. You will be able to vote until April 28 and the center is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. These ladies do wonderful work, so stop by and vote on their work. It is for a great cause.
