MISSION VALLEY — Ten local high school athletes have received allstate honors for their performances on the basketball court.
Following on the heels of the Arlee Warriors’ Class C championship, the team led valley programs in all-state recognition with three. Earning all-state nods for the Warriors were junior Will Mesteth, senior Tyler Tanner — his fourth in four years — and junior Phillip Malatare, who earned the honor three years in a row.
Sophomore Alyssia Vanderburg and senior Carly Hergett represented the Class C state runner-up Arlee Scarlets on the allstate list.
Charlo’s Cheyenne Nagy was selected to all-state out of District 14-C.
Western B divisional champion Ronan Maidens were represented on the all-state list by senior Micalann McCrea and senior Lee Camel, making it Camel’s third straight all-state selection.
Earning all-state recognition for the Class A third-place Polson Pirates were senior Tanner Wilson and two-time all-state honoree senior Matthew Rensvold.
Join these athletes on Thursday evening in celebration of their accomplishment during the Mission Valley All-Star Basketball Game.
