Navy quintet performs at library
POLSON — The Navy Band Northwest’s Brass Quintet will perform at North Lake County Public Library in Polson on Friday, March 24. The performance begins at 1:30 p.m. in the meeting room. The well-known quintet performs throughout the Pacific Northwest for military ceremonies, public concerts, and educational outreach. Comprised of two trumpets, two trombones, and a tuba, the group’s versatility offers a diverse repertoire including classical, jazz, patriotic, and more. The quintet consists of talented Navy musicians and provides a wide variety of music for audiences of all ages and walks of life. The event is free and open to the public. Pianist to entertain in Ronan
RONAN — Mission Valley Live will present music from pianist Thomas Pandolfi at 7 p.m. Friday, March 17 in the Ronan Performing Arts Center.
Pandolfi is a unique pianist who is especially at home in the music of Beethoven, Chopin and Gershwin. His highly popular “themed” programs, many of which include his amazing transcriptions of crossover literature, are described as “positively spellbinding.” His equally engaging personality, charisma and stage presence embrace the audience in the most captivating way. One walks away from a Pandolfi concert with a song in one’s heart, definitely wanting to hear more.
Tickets are $15 at the door or $13 in advance, and may be purchased in Ronan at R&R Health Care Solutions and Ronan True Value. Advance tickets are available in Polson at First Interstate Bank and The Vine & Tap.
Children 18 and younger are free; a ticket holding adult must accompany children age 12 and younger. Season FLEX tickets are available for seven performances at $75 or four for $45.
