Group to honor Gold, Eagle Scouts

POLSON — Officers and members of the Marine Corps League Hellroaring Detachment 1041 invite all Lake and Sanders County Eagle and Gold Scouts to their first Eagle and Gold Scouts Recognition Dinner on Feb. 18 at the Polson Fullerton VFW Post 2986.
This event is to recognize those who have attained the highest rank that a youth can earn in both the Boys and Girls Scout Programs. The detachment will be presenting Certificates of Recognition to those who earned their Eagle or Gold Scout Award in the past while building a living archive within our counties for future invites to Troops Court of Honors.
Those who have earned these awards in the past and present can meet and talk about the way it was and the way it is today. Scouting is alive and continues to be a positive activity for our youth.
This is a RSVP only and the deadline is Feb. 10. The cost of the dinner is $5 each or $15 per family of four. The dinner is free for 2016- 17 Eagle or Gold Scout recipients. For reservations and more information contact John Miller at 406-890- 0964 or mclhellroaring- 1041mt@gmail.com.
