Polson man charged with 7th DUI
POLSON — Murnice Edwin Myers pleaded not guilty to DUI in District Court Dec. 28. Myers was stopped at the intersection of Highway 93 and Pablo Light Road in Pablo because his taillights were out. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and could not blow an accurate reading on the Intoxilizer. Myer’s driving record showed six prior DUI convictions.
Marijuana seized in Ronan
POLSON — A Ronan man charged with a felony count of distributing dangerous drugs was allegedly found with 27 marijuana pipes, 223 green marijuana buds plus a total of 388 grams of bagged marijuana at his residence Nov. 3, 2016. In District Court Dec. 28, Franklin Shane Kuntz, 26, Ronan, pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute, a felony. Authorities also found two hanguns, a rifle and several cans of butane. Kuntz’s trial is set for April 3.
