Exchange student tops PHS talent show

POLSON — It was dark in the Polson High School Auditorium with squares of light from cell phones dotted throughout the crowd. All the seats were full for the annual PHS talent show on Dec. 22.
The show gives PHS students a chance to sing, dance, play an instrument or display any other talents. It’s also held right before school is dismissed for the winter holiday so everyone knows freedom is near.
Emcees Kyle Bagnell and Ian Laimbeer kept the show moving between acts with a plethora of jokes.
A drum soloist, Native American dancers, a violin player, a pianist and singers all contributed their talents.
Exhange student Sher Tehmasap won first place for his Pakistani dance. Second place was awarded to Preston “Small Fry” Alexander for his dance, followed by Kabrina and Keana Cordier singing and Matt Cordoza playing his guitar.
