POLSON — Life isn't easy but it does include free trips around the sun. Another trip completed. Have a safe and happy new year.
What a talented and fun troupe of young people were the students in Polson High School’s Jazz Connection Choral Group that performed for us at our facility on Dec. 21. We thoroughly enjoyed their performance. Thanks to all of you.
Bingo will resume on Jan. 6.
The veterans’ representative will be here on Jan. 6, from 10 a.m.-noon.
The Polson Senior Center’s toenail clinic is on Jan. 11, from 10 a.m.-noon.
A celebration of the life for Dean Greiner will be held here on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 1 p.m. A spaghetti dinner will be served.
Commodities will be sorted and distributed on Tuesday, Jan. 17, this month.
Tim Basta dominated senior bowling on Dec. 27. Tim swept the men’s high game, series and handicap series. Alice Johnson nearly swept women’s but gave up handicap series to Vivian Ross.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, Jan. 5: cheeseburger, lettuce and tomato
— Friday, Jan. 6: chicken vegetable soup, rolls
— Monday, Jan. 9: sausage gravy and biscuits
— Tuesday, Jan. 10: baked ham, baked potato
— Wednesday, Jan. 11: beef noodle soup, cheesy bread
All meals include vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
