POLSON — I was up all night trying to figure out where the sun went; then it dawned on me.
There will be a fraud prevention seminar here on Dec. 14 at noon. Learn how not to become a victim.
The veterans’ representative will be here on Dec. 15 from 10 a.m.-noon. Commodities will be packaged here on Dec. 15. You may pick them up after 1 p.m.
Feel free to come and join our exercise group three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10-11:30 a.m.
During Tuesday’s senior bowling, Larry and Cris Alter swept high game, series and handicap series. Jack Adamson, Fred Funke and Tim Basta all rolled very high games over 700.
And the Cubbies took the World Series in baseball. Well done.
As you read this, we will have a new president. The optimist in me hopes we can all get behind her/him and move forward.
Our lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, Dec. 10: chicken noodle soup, cheesy olive bread
— Friday, Dec. 11: meat loaf, baked potato
— Monday, Dec. 14: Navy bean soup, corn bread
— Tuesday, Dec. 15: breaded cod wedges, French fries
— Wednesday, Dec. 16: oven baked beef stew, biscuits
All meals include vegetables and a dessert. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
